1. Assumption of Risk

I fully understand that participation in a running or walking event is a physically demanding activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, dehydration, heat exhaustion, adverse weather conditions, road hazards, and incidents caused by other participants or external factors.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Bahaghari Run 2026, including any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death that may occur before, during, or after the event.

2. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically fit, in good health, and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in this event.

I voluntarily consent to receive emergency medical treatment, first aid, or transportation deemed necessary by authorized medical personnel, event staff, or volunteers in case of injury or illness during the event.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Ajonay PRIDE Organization, the City Government of Maasin, partner agencies, sponsors, donors, volunteers, marshals, medical teams, and all other individuals or entities connected with the organization of the Bahaghari Run 2026 from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, or causes of action arising from my participation in the event.

This release includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from negligence, whether active or passive, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Compliance with Rules and Safety Measures

I agree to comply with all official race rules, event guidelines, safety protocols, and instructions given by event organizers, race marshals, security personnel, and medical staff.

I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in disqualification, removal from the event, or denial of further participation, without entitlement to any refund.

5. Use of Image, Name, and Likeness

I grant full permission to the event organizers to use my name, photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media taken during the event for documentation, promotional, marketing, or educational purposes, without compensation or prior approval.

6. Non-Refund and Event Changes

I understand that all registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of personal circumstances.

I acknowledge that the organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to safety concerns, weather conditions, government advisories, or other unforeseen circumstances, without obligation to refund registration fees.

7. Acknowledgment and Consent

I confirm that I have carefully read and fully understood this Waiver and Release of Liability. By submitting my registration—whether online or onsite—I voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions stated herein.
